Ive asked for sizes of the cylinder. Pressure gauge on the side is a 2000# gauge, can one assume they make 1500PSI or would it make the full 2000#? Also how thick would the casting around the cylinder be? If its 8" OD would it have 1" thick walls or 1/4"?

One thing to think about when pulling in 480 is the cost of keeping the step down transformer energized. My old dry GE was pulling any where from .4-.6 amps with no connection on the low side. It was old but worked great for 40 years, it just cost money to keep on all the time.

Been buying Stronghold but they are getting (ok, have been expensive). Great cabinets, but now I see Greene Manufacturing which is in my home state of MI. Anyone have experience with them and how they compare to Stronghold?

I had a similar issues years back, odd things would flicker, not on the same breaker. Finally tracked it back to a bad connection at the transformer. If items are on separate breakers, check to see if the affected items are fed from the same incoming leg. If so call your supplier.

All 3 of the small welders and plasma need the 240 and a pretty healthy breaker. The band saw has on board protection for the main motor and the attached blade welder.
