You should also order some # 108 Rustoleum Clean and Etch. I'd get enough to do your floor twice to be sure that it's got the correct profile to enable the epoxy to grip and that all traces of dirt/oil etc. are removed .

I found the flakes give the floor some texture . It's probably not as good as using the anti-skid material , but there's enough roughness on the floor to give some traction. As far as the small wall in the garage , it's due to the extremely hard clay that exists in this area. The builder, back...

    My small garage...

Yes, I did in fact do all the work myself including the floor . The only help I had was putting up the drywall. It did take me considerably longer than I had anticipated , but that's probably due to the fact that the project got more involved as it went along ...

    Drywall Screws-Fine or Course Thread?

Another good tip is to put in two screws about an inch apart where ever you are fastening the Sheet Rock. This way you get double the holding power and still only have one spot to mud .

Filling in Strike joints for VCT?

I would think that the joints would "telegraph" through the tile and be quite noticeable after a while . I'd fill it with Rustoleum Epoxy Shield Concrete Patch and Repair. From their website:www.rustoleum.com Heavy duty 2-part epoxy is stronger than concrete. * Heavy-duty formula...
