Anybody into bullet molds & related stuff? I shoot muzzle loading rifles and cap & ball revolvers and intend to buy the necessary stuff to cast my own round ball ammo. I'd like to use vintage tools like my grandpas did.

Yeah Old Coleman Parts makes it possible for collectors like myself to restore the lanterns and stoves we find. It would be hard, if not impossible to find enough parts otherwise.

I collect Coleman lanterns & stoves and other brands as well, including Bernzomatic. Here's a camp stove I'm restoring now. I have recently found that Bernzomatic made/marketed hand tools. I don't know how vintage they would be or what the quality would be. Anybody got some?

Been a while but I picked up a few more saws today, including a couple maybe actually vintage. They came from a pawn shop where all the hand tools were 50% off today.

Anybody ever submerge tools with plastic or wood handles in Evaporust and if so what was the effect? It would require a lot less liquid to soak a hacksaw laying flat than standing or hanging up.

My favorite local hardware store (the only one I shop at) offered me a 5 gallon bucket of Evaporust that has been in stock for two years for $40 including tax. Seems like a deal, so I'll pick it up on Monday. I've got a bunch of tools that need de-rusting so I guess I'll see how it works...

My family says I find the strangest S**t at flea markets. They would laugh their @$$es off if I came home with a suppository making machine, **** I'd buy one if I found it.

I just bought a Cornwell SR4 ratchet for $! at a flea market. It will get a good cleaning. The casting reads "PAT APPLIED FOR". I would like to know the approx date of manufacture.

I think the handle is just broken, with a piece missing. Guess I'll eventually use it for a pattern and make a new one.

I found this wrench at a flea market today. It appears to to a combination pipe wrench and regular adjustable wrench? I can easily read a B and 91 on it. Otherwise, I can see BENIS_ _ _ A, on one side, on the opposite side was a circle with probably something in it, but I can't read it now...
