Our living room is 21x11 with no lights, just switched outlets. I would like to install some of the flat pancake recessed lights. Thinking 6 of them but not sure how to determine how many and how far away from the wall to place them. Ceiling is standard 8 feet tall. Any advice?

Anyone have experience with the cheap ATF fillers on amazon? What kind of fitting is this?

Many years ago I made up a fluid filler from a garden sprayer and it's worked pretty good over the years. I bent up some soft copper line to use as fillers. But with all the newer transmissions needing more and more specialty fittings to fill I thought I would "splurge" and buy one of the kits...

    Scott's Garage Stories

Figured it was time to start my own thread about my daily adventures. Nothing too interesting or special about my life but thought I would do this more as a journal for myself. A little over 6 years ago we made the move to Iowa. The wife's place of employment closed up her location when they...

    M18 compressor vs m18 stapler/nailers

I have the M18 18 gauge nail gun and love it. I have been planning on picking up the m18 15 or 16 gauge nail gun also for other trim work. But have a small job at a friends house stapling some carpet on stairs. My small trim compressor is 6 hours away so that leaves me with a heavier dewalt...

    M18 shop vac experiences?

Anyone have experience with the milwaukee m18 6 gallon shop vac? Home depot has it on sale for 199 and you get a free accessory with it. I was planning on getting the dust collector that auctions to the wall anyway for cutting holes in drywall. That is like 60 bucks on it's own so the vac would...

    M18/M12 battery and tool bases

I built a cordless tool cubby a few years ago and even though I built it big enough to expand I've way out grown it. And that doesn't include the weed whacker, blower, chain saw, tower lights, etc, and all their attachments. Think I can still make it work for now if I get some of those battery...

Looking for a new drain auger for 1.5" and 2" lines for sinks and tubs and stuff like that.
