    Lista (and other) Cabinet Score!

Bought these at one of those "estate sale" things where some 3rd party tags everything in someone's house, like a giant garage sale. Everything went half price at noon. I offered half price for these at 1145, and they took it. As I was making the deal, some guy offered full price, but the sale...

    Emglo KU Compressor Repair

Got an old Emglo wheelbarrow Compressor with GX 200 Honda that I use the **** out of. It recently started leaking air back through the Compressor when the engine is stopped, and the idle control hunts between hi and low idle when it hits max pressure. It pumps up fast and doesn't burn oil, so...

    Good Tinted Full Face Shield?

Seems like whenever I need to use the gas axe, it's always miserable hot and still. I wear glasses and no matter what, goggles always fog up, or I get an eye full of sweat...usually when cutting a bearing race off a shaft, or something requiring precision. Looking for reccomendations for a good...

    Locking Grease Gun Couplers

Seen several different kinds of these at local implement dealers recently. Anybody use one? How well do they work? Seen a couple different styles...the Lock N Lube, with a small lever, and another style with a sliding sleeve.

Building with used / salvaged materials?

Would like to put up a 40 X 40 ish sized building in the next few years, and really don't want to go into debt for it. With the Ag economy in the ******* for the foreseeable future, I'm just not comfortable taking on and debt. Between myself and several friends who do concrete and pole building...

New life for former Vise-Grip plant

Looks like the mostly-unused former Vise-Grip plant may be back making tools again soon, but not Vise-Grips. The closure really hurt the town of DeWitt. Hope this goes through. http://beatricedailysun.com/news/local/article_515a46b1-569b-59b6-aa78-fcd612c52923.html Sorry....don't know how to...

    Matco MB302 Side Cabinet

Picked up a Matco MB302 to hang off the side of my old Matco bottom box. It's not perfect by any means, but useable. Spent last night straightening tweaked door, and cleaning it out. This one only has 4 drawers, with slide channels for 3 more. The channels look absolutely new...no paint wear to...

    At Last! 24" Diamond

Was visiting family in Denver, and made a run to Charlie's Secondhand Tools. Been gathering (hoarding maybe) Diamond stuff for years. Only seen a few 24" adjustable wrenches, and all with fixed jaw cracked and welded. Took home this nice, Un-welded one, and beautiful early 10" one for $48!

    Cleaning Kennedy Brown Crinkle Paint

Always wanted a Kennedy K32 carpenters tool box. IDK why...I guess to keep carpentry tools in? Anyhow, picked up a nice, straight one at a garage sale for $10, but it's absolutely filthy on the outside. Any ideas on how best to clean all the grunge out of the crinkle finish paint? I'm thinking...

    Snap On MT2700 Ignition Tester

Anyone have one of these? I still work on a lot of old gas engines, from grain trucks, to gas tractors, swathers and old industrial stuff. Sort of looks handy for finding ignition problems, though I've gotten along ok without one for 25+ years. Are they worth having?

    Craftsman C-3 /19.2 Line, Worth L-ion Upgrade?

Got quite a bit of Craftsman C-3 cordless stuff, couple drills, 1/2 and 3/8 impacts, Recip saw, circular saw, and some others. NiCad batteries are on their way out, I'm down to one decent one left. Already have the multi chemistry charger, and one small L-I battery, which works great. Thinking...

Used IR 2015 Max 3/8" right angle impact

Found one for sale for $70, but pretty sure I can get a better price. It's been used, but not all beat to death. It's beyond the early s/n range that had recalls. Anything to look for on these? What do they cost to repair if needed? There are a fair number of places I could use one, so thinking...

Best Bang For Buck 3/8 Penumatic Impact

My old Mac SuperDuty 3/8" impact I bought damn near new back in 1993 has pretty well given up the ghost. Had it rebuilt around 2000, but not going to again. Who's got the most bang for the buck these days? Smaller size is important also, but power is my #1 concern.

    Bucket Organizers

Got several of these, mostly Husky brand, set up for home repair tasks. One for carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Love them for this type of stuff, and the task based organization works well for me. Just wondering who uses them and what brands you prefer?

    Snap On bottom box?

Wanted the KRA429 on top of this bottom box, but had to buy both, for $90. They're both pretty clean, especially the mid box. Looked all over this bottom and can't find any markings. Appears to be Snap On, and has same drawer slides as the mid box. Any ideas? Sorry for fuzzy pic...can't seem to...

Snap On KRA 429 / Roll Cab ID?

Went to an auction Sunday, fair amount of tools, and lots of guns & reloading stuff. I've been wanting a KRA 429, to add on to the boxes I started out with, an old Matco bottom and Snap On top combination. Found these gems, and bought the pair for $90. Back of the mid box is marked 1 77, so I...

    Useful Oscillating Tool Attachments

Picked up a Dremel MM20 variable speed multitool today. I'm a lot better mechanic than carpenter, but could see this coming in handy at times. Any "must-have" accessories? Any to avoid?

    Beefing Up Chinese Tire Machine

Gave Dad my old TSC / Larin tire machine. Made similar to the HF one, but just maybe a bit heavier. Was afraid of the head breaker arm turning into a pretzel, so beefed it up a bit. Some 1x1/4 flat iron and 7014 rod and turned it into a pretty beefy piece now.

    Help ID Old Bench Grinder

It's consignment auction season here in Southeast NE, so been going to a few lately. Usual mix of everything from tractors to used washer/dryers. Spotted this gnarly old 8" bench grinder, bid a few times, and won the privilege of carrying this damned thing 3 blocks to my truck! Suspect it's a...

    Mac Flex Socket Wrench Set

Been looking for a set of these for probably 25 years. Not once have I come across any at either a pawn shop or garage sale, and the few times I've seen them at auction, the 3/8-3/4 sets bring $150 plus. This set runs 1/4"-7/8". This set popped up on local CL yesterday, so I jumped on them...
