    Quick question on breakers . . .

I'm all for DIY, but if you're not comfortable taking the cover off the breaker box, then you should call a professional.

    Scrapping metal

I usually burn electronics before they go. I've never had a complaint about the little bits of glass and plastic on my mixed scrap. Fridges don't have to be burnt any more here, they send it all into the shredder.

I'll toss my vote in on #1 and #13

    Uneven floor variation with racedeck

It depends how fast the transition is for the 3/4" variance. As long as it's fairly gradual, you won't have any problems. You probably wouldn't want voids under the tiles like potholes. Solid tiles will be a little noisier in rough areas - where the free flow are more flexible and pretty much...

    RaceDeck Fit and Finish

There are no gaps if your floor is flat. For mine, the only place that the edges seem to be noticeable at all is when the floor dips down, and even then, it's not obvious at all.

    Panel Manufacturer Recommendations?

I've put two Murray mains in now and have no complaints. Going against what a lot of people would say, I use Murray, GE and Siemens breakers. Anything is better than the stab style Federal Pacific's and old rusty fuse boxes that they replaced.

Can't figure out why my hydronic system is costing me a fortune, HELP!

That sounds just about right. Actually, it's a pretty good number to heat a basement, especially with electric. I heated a bedroom room in a basement once with forced air electric, and it raised my bill about $40 if I remember right - that was late 90's energy prices, and the room was only...

Can't figure out why my hydronic system is costing me a fortune, HELP!

^ That ^ It's efficient, in that water is an excellent heat transfer medium, but it isn't financially efficient at all when you figure in installation expense and maintenance. In floor radiant heat's selling point is in it's comfort. If your main goal is low installation and operating cost...

Can't figure out why my hydronic system is costing me a fortune, HELP!

You don't say where you're at, but why are you heating water with electricity if you have gas? It's the most expensive way to heat it, otherwise, not know where you're at, it sounds about normal.

1/2" or 3/4" pex radiant floor tubing?

I've run both, and honestly, I can't tell the difference in performance. 1000 +/- feet of 3/4" in the main part of the house, then I used 1/2" when I did the master bath. Mine is in the house though, no antifreeze.

    Bendpak XPR10

I wish they would list prices - even "suggested retail" prices would be helpful. I get tired of having to fill out forms and wait to be contacted just to get a price on something. I just went through that while shopping for garage management software. It does look like something I'd like to...

My Bendpak XPR-10A and Racedeck Install

Thanks  I did notice that the pinch welds on the Subie left cuts in them. I was thinking Rhino liner (or my cheap knockoff) would probably adhere to the metal good, and should hold up to the pinch welds.

My Bendpak XPR-10A and Racedeck Install

Due to our warm winter, and a lot of rain, the fact that I didn't get my concrete apron in last year has been paying me dividends...in mud. Nothing like some heavy abuse to my Racedeck on day one. While the free flow tiles are great for winter slop melting and rain runoff from vehicles, mud is...

My Bendpak XPR-10A and Racedeck Install

I finally got a chance to to do some service to my vehicles. The Bendpak lifted my little Subaru like it was nothing. Next was my Dodge Ram. I stacked both extensions, and despite my frame pads being on back order, it was incredibly steady and solid. No strain from the motor, and no flex...

    Kickback on Camera

I never heard of a riving knife or blade guard on a table saw. The one I use is older than I am and doesn't have any safety things on it. Kind of amazing I never got hurt using it as a kid because I did a lot of dumb things in my dad's basement workshop. Those little push things look kind of...

Help with Organizing a Metal Garage

Rather than trying to attach hangers or shelves to the posts, why not free standing racks?

Time to order my 2 post lift.. cant make up my mind

I looked at the Atlas, etc. myself, and I am glad I went with the Bendpak. I had a chance to use a Mohawk and a Snap On lift when I took my inspection class, and I have to say, especially for the price, Bendpak is a winner. I bought my under lift stand and oil drain from Tool Topia. I'd...

My Bendpak XPR-10A and Racedeck Install

I told them I would be happy to promote their flooring. I've talked to several people when I called in since I've done a few orders, changing my mind as I put the floor together, and have to say that I've never dealt with a company that had so many professional, courteous and NICE people. I...

My Bendpak XPR-10A and Racedeck Install

I spent the last couple of days cleaning up my construction mess more than anything, but I did get a chance to use my lift for the first time tonight, and I have to say, despite the small issue, I love my Bendpak, and I would buy it again without a thought. I'll get more pictures as I finish...
