    Looking for a rechargeable light

This is the 300. I'm also looking at trying the LNC Mantis (the LNCMINI). If it's built like the LNC1341 and has the same magnet with the lighter weight it might be a winner. I value a good magnet over brightness because I do a lot work in wheel wells where magnetic flat surfaces are slim...

    Looking for a rechargeable light

Got the Light-N-Carry (LNC1341) yesterday. I've been on a hunt for the perfect light for years. I've got Astro, Braun, The little Milwaukee Rover pivoting floodlight, and a few others. This Clore light is the most robust feeling light I've ever had. I haven't gotten a chance to use it under a...

    Looking for a rechargeable light

Someone posted the Nebo light and I liked that form factor. I did a little looking around and ordered a similar one from Clore, the company who brought us the Jump-N-Carry. It arrives today so I'll report back...

    Generac Generator Not Making Power

I bought a Generac generator a few years back for $50 because it ran but didn't put out any voltage. After troubleshooting and researching, I bought a new AVR (Auto Voltage Regulator) off eBay, popped it in, and it was immediately fixed. I felt so guilty I returned it to the guy who sold it to me!

    Advance Auto: BOGO and 25%

Couldn't find the 25% banner/code nor any mention of BOGO on brake cleaner. I wonder if the sale is regional? Edit: now the whole site is down... maybe that has something to do with it.

already googled it so now I am coming to the experts

I wonder if the initials stand for an equipment maker and not a dedicated tool company. For example, 60s Honda motorcycles came with similar wrenches marked "HM". That theory widens your search at least.

Anyone got a Masterforce side box?

By "side box" you're referring to the shorty chest on the right, not the locker, correct? By the way, both add-ons required a shim to keep the vertical gap consistent, otherwise the gap at the top is 1/2" and zero at the bottom. I just put a scrap of 1/2" plywood near the bottom and the weight...

Anyone got a Masterforce side box?

The main box has been replaced with a wider one since these photos were taken. I love the locker and the side box. I made a work surface for the side box out of mdf and shellac. Also added a magnetic power strip to the back of the box because the side box covers the built in one on the main chest.

    NOCO GB50 jump starter $99.99/NOCO G3500 3.5 charger $34.99 Woot

Agreed, their jump packs are built really nice and solid but couldn't start a lawn mower. Their customer service blows too.

Noco GB40... get out the jumper cables

Just got off a "support" chat with Noco. What a joke. I bought a Noco GB40 last summer and have kept it fully charged. In the past few months, I've tried to start multiple vehicles with it: Fully dead Cherokee: lit up the dashboard but not even enough power to make the starter click Outback...

Bendpak Rolling Bridge Jack or aftermarket

Rollers would be a luxury. I have a Titan one from Greg Smith equipment and it just has HDPE p plastic sliders. It's held up just fine. At some point it'd be nice to add an air over hydraulic pump so I don't have to hand pump but then I'd have to drag the air hose out.

    Astro Tools 40SLMax feature request

I have 3 or 4 of these. Could you please build in a siren to alert when the're left stuck to the underside of a vehicle? The one under the jeep survived a 10 mile trip in a snowstorm. The other one went on a 100+ mile trip under a Cummins the other day!
