    Bearing Press "Rings" Set?

Is there a safe way to remove the outer race? Last time I tried to press one apart I ended up with an explosion of race chunks and ball bearings. Really dangerous.

    Bearing Press "Rings" Set?

I do also have the Astro press... in fact the BJP1 definitely does not have the selection of cups that the Astro set has so I usually end up with a combination of parts from both kits. I would love to test a socket adapter!

    Bearing Press "Rings" Set?

I use sockets frequently, more as pushers than receiving cups. The holy grail tool for me would be an adapter to fit my Snap On BJP1 that has a 1/2" ball-detent anvil on it to hold sockets! OEM includes them in their C-frame socket set but I can't find them by themselves, much less made to fit...

New M12 Right Angle Die Grinder. I have no idea how that zip-tie got on there. It seems to override the built-in safety measures carefully engineered by Milwaukee. I'll be sure to remove it to ensure safe operation. ;-)

That shape is great for brake caliper brackets.

New here- Has anyone made money with their auto lift?

That's an interesting thought. I have a lift at my shop and friends come over a few nights a week. We drink some beers and do brake jobs, suspension, bearings, etc. Could you expand on the liability comment? Do you mean if they drive off and die in a fiery wreck because their brakes failed...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Went looking for this online and saw it for $69 at HD. I almost ordered it before I noticed that there's another SKU for the same price that includes an extra battery plus a standalone charger. Must be a special...

What is your favorite X in one Screwdriver

Seconding the Megapro. Made in Canada. Oozes quality. Super smooth ratcheting mechanism, precise direction switch with a great click, solid bit carousel with no slop which gets sucked in and held in place by a magnet. This is one of those tools that you fidget with because it feels and sounds so...

I'm still waiting for one of my buddies to take a shot of brake cleaner down the gullet. You have to have fun in the shop. Last night my buddy drove off after a brake job with Rock Auto magnets all over the back of his car.

Capri 11850-7MRK Super Thin Metric Open Ended Wrench Set Bought this for a bunch of applications. Two off the top of my head are caliper slides (sometimes the sleeve spins and I can't get a regular wrench in there) and die grinder collets.

    Roto Ratchets with All-Metal Handles

I looked at the new Craftsman and Masterforce roto ratchets at Menards the other day and both have plastic selectors. Garbage.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

So does it make a difference that the item I want to get the 11% on isn't carried in stores? I was looking for a compact portable metric-only socket set to keep in my truck. It's strange that HD doesn't carry their socket sets, but I suppose it would take a bite out of Husky.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

This is interesting. Living in the land of Menards, I've been taking advantage of having the 11% at the Home Depot just down the road, especially lately since Menards replaced all their tools with Chinese garbage. I've been looking at a Milwaukee item that's only available for ship to home or...

    Assenmacher soldering clamp

I have a Mr. Grippy and love it, although both wire studs move as one piece so your wires need to be the same gauge. I'd like to see what other people use, including DIY ones.
