At our data center we have a large diesel generator, automatic xfer switch and a couple of large UPS units. When the city power cuts out the UPS units carry the load temporarily until the generator kicks in and stabilizes.

Ok, so you are not completely open to suggestions. :) Search around here and you will find the odd thread about wood floors in a garage. Granted, they might not be maintenance free but they can look very sharp.

Sad to see this happening. I used to be a regular shopper at their stores in Canada. Move to San Antonio and was really disappointed when I visited the Sears here... not the same vibrant and busy Sears I had experienced in Canada.
