    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

Definitely do your homework. The original K1 was not a terrible printer, and is the most futuristic thing Creality has put out, but a lot of people have complained about some pretty big issues. The biggest issues being: - Severe under-extrusion that can only be solved by modifying the print...

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

Dang. Im glad they are working with you to try and make it right, but it sounds like quite a time consuming undertaking. I'm certain they have not offered to replace the printer because they probably don't have one to replace it with. They are working like mad to get pre-orders out, so if they...

Man, that really *****. The XL has been so long-awaited I cant imagine the disappointment and frustration of having a trashed stepper right out of the box. I jumped on the X1 Carbon band wagon to replace my modded Anycubic Vyper, but I am still eyeing Prusa for a future addition to my...

Where do you prefer to purchase Milwaukee batteries from?

Lately I've been finding some good deals on used batteries through eBay and Offerup. Got a pair of M12 3.0s for only $50. It's a bit of a gamble, but so far its worked for me. The big things I try to do is get a good look at the serial number so I know it was made within the last two years...

Educate me - tap and die sets?

For thread chasing, Lang is the best bang for your buck. Snap-On, Craftsman, and others take the Lang set, put their name on it, and jack up the price 2x-3x. This is the cheapest place I have found them. They have a cheaper 40pc set. but I recommend the master set I have linked below...

How to repurpose a Philips head screwdriver?

Milwaukee M12 1/4" Drivers for socket use?

OP I have the single speed version of the 1/4 driver you listed and use it daily to remove/install screws and to run down small bolts. I find that it works perfect for my needs and I think for what you'd want to do it would work well.

    Best precision 1/4" drive bits?

+1 The fit of PB Swiss bits is incredible. If you can afford to take a swing at them I highly recommend. I try to reserve my PB Swiss bits for removing delicate or hard to reach screws like the ones that hold avionics trays/equipment in. Otherwise I use the Milwaukee impact bits in my driver...
