    When we used to refloor oilfield semi flatbeds we’d snap a chalk line on wood at edge of stringer. Drill pilot holes in wood on chalk line. Drive spikes thru wood. Tack weld spike to stringer. To remove just grind off tack weld.

    Do your LED garage lights cut out the radio?

    When I changed all the 4’ fluorescent to LED in the garage ( 6 sets of 2 and a single) I had severe AM/FM radio interference. Turned the radio 90 degrees and it all interference went away. ????? Been about 3 years now. Clear as a bell unless you rotate radio back to original position.

    A cheap easy way to get an immediate rock hard finish is standard rustoluem paint thinned with 65-75% acetone. 1.4 tip. Drys almost on contact. Usually two coats.

    I’ve set hundreds of 1/4 rivets with my HF pneumatic over the years. Always worked flawlessly. Not sure about the nose length/diameter for your application, but would be close.

    I have never flushed brakes. Over 60 years driving. Have 1970, 1985, 1990, 1993, 1995, and 2007 model vehicles all bought new all driven fairly regularly, no problems.

    On my MIL’s hail damaged vinyl shed, we just glued and pop riveted patches over holes. Patch on inside. Then painted whole shed. Looks ok from 20’. Used a little heavier vinyl for patches.

    I have a couple 27 cfm gas powered compressors and the crankcase vent is about a 1/16” hole in oil fill plug. I check them regularly because it gets very messy very quickly if they plug up.

    Good guess, but wrong. You soap up the screen on the sand point so it won’t get clogged while it’s being driven. When you reach the water table, soap dissolves and screen is clear.
