Survey/Neighborhood Plat - Building Envelope vs. Building Envelope (Typ.)

I don't think the OP specifically mentioned if his house was part of the HOA or not. I am assuming he is (never assume anything). If he is in the HOA, then he should be able to get the HOA rules and regulations and not rely on what his neighbor "says". If he's not in the HOA, then whatever his...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Hopefully they work better for F.T.C. being that they are on a heavier Super Duty. I put a set on the 2011 F150 I had. Wet and snow traction sucked. They did wear great. I'd recommend the BFG KO All Terrain..

    Another driveway “sealing” question

The company that did my driveway came in 2 trips (same day). First guy came and put sand in the large cracks, then used a hot fill over all the cracks. 2nd crew came with the liquid asphalt or whatever they use and sprayed down the entire driveway. Of course they started by carefully applying...

    Framing basement walls

In my last house I Drylocked, glued up 3/4" foam board, then studded, fiberglass insulation, and drywalled. Never had an issue. In my current house, I'll probably just stud and insulate, skipping the Drylock and foam board. This house has a very dry basement and is half exposed (walk out on a...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Pulled the 2018 Edge out of the garage, washed it, pulled back into the garage. Clay barred and waxed it. Pulled it back out of the garage to see where I missed removing any wax and had the wife pull it back in.......then when we got in to go do the weekend errands, all I heard was relays...

    Wrong LPG pipe size installed

From google: Drip leg” and “sediment trap” are often used interchangeably, but they are really two different things. Drip legs (technically call just a “drip”) are installed to collect condensation in a gas piping system, so they are installed in a low point to prevent condensation from running...

    Wrong LPG pipe size installed

I'll have to check out my setup. I have a General 38kw. I know the line from the first regulator (at the tank) to the second regulator (more than 50' run) is no more than 1/2". From the 2nd regulator to the generator has a 2-4' section of 2" pipe that goes I to a flex line at the generator input.
