    Favorite ratchet and why

    Very nice ratchet Tripn88, Ive been lookin for a 3/8 in that style at the flea market I go to but one hasn't turned up yet. Those are really smoothe and low backdrag ratchets.

    Yes the suckage is present here ! Can you post a pic of that vintage craftsman ratchet ? I dont think ive seen one with a selector like that one has. Also, what brand is that polished 14 mm wrench ? Looks nice !

    Best flush cutters

    What your cutting is the kicker, ive cut guitar string and they ruin the edges, ( use it for small engine carb clean out ) I didnt know there were carbide tip cutters !

    Tools for home mechanic?

    When you buy any channel lock pliers id suggest this type or similar. these are my go to pliers when needed, it seems this design puts more force with less effort on the hardware and doesn't slip off as easily.

    Ratcheting wrench type?

    I only have the reversible and the flat type. I like the reversible because of the knuckle clearance the angle provides.

    hey Old Radar... nice P&C adjustable wrench. you should post a pic in the P&C tool thread. Also those Starrett indicators are my favorite for truing up lathe work. very smoothe.

    Just bought this astro ratchet slightly used today. It seems to have a little to much back drag on it and I want to tare it down and lube it but the direction lever pin goes all the way thru and the cover wont come off because it appears to be bradded on. Any help on taking it apart would be...
