    Garage door insulation

I have been dragging my feet on these old doors for years. This is just a game room and hobby area. Many projects seems to happen here all times of year. Last winter was wreath making for the ffa. The garage doors are on the west side and take all the weather. They’re probably 30yr old budget...

    Old grease drum

I’m going to pick up an old marathon grease barrel 120Lbs. The barrel is smooth and has no ribs. I’ve never noticed a grease drum with no ribs. I’m planning to use it for a trash can. Any idea on vintage? It’s the newer M logo so I’m guessing newer than 1961.

    Old neon signs

I have an old 1970s neon sign. It has a new modern transformer on it that makes it much lighter and I hope a little more safe. I’m new to neon signs and my question is I’m getting a very small shock when you touch the frame, is this normal? When we were kids my grandmother’s refrigerator would...

    Porter cable 12v drill

Got a new drill. I went a little cheap. My old makita 14.4 volt batteries were toast and I thought it was time to update. @ $62 This seems like a good value for around the house. It's a refurbished one. Nice size and it feels pretty good. Anybody else using 12 volt lithium? <a...

    Makita 14.4 drill

I bought this new and its still a good one. The batteries need rebuilt I think. I opened the case that's been in my basement and found a extra charger and battery and I don't know the condition of those. One of my friends gave me the extras a few years or so back and I never messed with them...

    Battery powered screwdrivers

What are you guys using? Is the black and decker versa pack any good? I think I would use something like this more than my makita 14.4 drill. My batteries are shot and I feel like trying something new. The dewalt screwdriver looks good also but for around the house maybe its overkill.
