Mystery tool / item of the week. WTF?

Here's a new one on me. They measure just under 6" x 3", are non-magnetic and were from the shop of a guy who repaired computers, printers, copiers, and general office stuff. Ever seen anything like this? I found no brand names, a Google search turned up nothing, and I am stumped. Thoughts...

    Mystery tool--anyone recognize this?

Here's one I picked up a while back, and have been unable to identify. It's marked AST-SUB-005, which should be Assenmacher Specialty Tools, and be pretty straightforward to look up, but I found absolutely nothing. Anyone recognize this? Thanks in advance. Al

    Another mystery tool!

This came in with a bunch of mechanics and auto body tools I bought. I vaguely recall having seen them before, but do not know what they are or what they attach to. I'm sure someone out there in Garagejournalland can identify them. Any thoughts as to what they might be? Thanks.

Mystery Tool Set--ever seen something like this?

Well, this set is a mystery to me, and I know a fair amount about tools. I bought a garage full of stuff from a truck mechanic, and this one has me stumped. The pieces look like aluminum, but they are steel. No brand name anywhere, and the numbers don't help either. I thought they were bushing...

    Can you identify this tool?

Hi, Gang-- This was made by Atlast Manufacturing, a company now out of business. The patent number, 4,169,395, identifies it as a screw removing tool--which makes sense. It takes 1/4" hex bits, and you could put a flathead bit into it as well. Here's the problem: I seem to recall having seen...

    Unidentified Snap-on socket--can you help!

Help! I got this odd Snap-on socket in with some other stuff, and I can't find any information on it. The model number is S9473, it's a half inch drive, and there is a magnet inside it which looks like it is supposed to be there. Anyone have direct knowledge or educated guesses on this? I...

    Mystery tool--do you recognize this?

I bought this along with a rollaway full of stuff, and the thing doesn't have a brand name, ID mark, or even a patent number to help. I think it's a mechanic's tool of some kind, and am wondering if anyone out in Garagejournalland has seen one. Can you help me? Thanks. Al

Another Whatsit. Can you identify this?

I bought this with a bunch of tooling from a machine shop, and it has me stumped. I looked for it online and had no luck. Has anyone seen one of these before who can identify it? It was made in Japan and brought into this country by Tool Importers in New Jersey. Thanks in advance. Al

Mystery Tool: can anyone identify this?

This has me stumped. It has no company ID, I bought it along with a bunch of machinist tooling, much of which was Hardinge. I did a Google Images search, and came up with "cylinder". Not helpful! Has anyone seen one of these? What is it used for? Thanks in advance. Al

WTF is this set of tools?

Here's something I couldn't resist at a yard sale yesterday. I couldn't find a maker's name, but there are numbers and angles on them--and they're nearly impossible to read. There are counterbores, and lots of other things, some with tapered shanks, some with straight. Utility knife in there...

WTF is this thing? Unknown tool!

Hi, Gang-- I was at a yard sale today and picked up this thing just to find out what it is. It's spring loaded, just under 10" long, and has no company identification on it. Does anyone have any idea what it's used for? Thanks so much.

Mystery tool of the week! WTF is it?

Here's one I've never seen before, and I am pretty familiar with tools. Anyone out there seen one of these? I don't know if it works as a pair, or if I have two tools. Thanks in advance. There are little pins on the side, it's made in the USA, but there is no product information. Al

What kind of puller is this? A new one on me!

Anybody seen one of these things before? There is no name on it, I'd guess it is older because of the square bolt. It measures about three by three. I would think it's a puller, but that's just a guess. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

WFT is this odd tool? It's got me stumped!

Here's one I've never seen and can't figure out. It came from a mechanic, and since it's a K-D, it has to be a mechanic tool of some sort. It's a model 170. Anyone seen anything like it? Thanks in advance. Stay well! Al

Need Instructions for Snap-on Solus Pro Clock

Help! I came across this Snap-on Solus Pro clock (not the scanner), and since I'm not a 12-year old, am unable to figure out how to set the time. And I really like this thing. It looks like the regular scanner, but smaller and lighter. Is there anyone out there who has the instructions, or...

    Anyone know what this is?

Help! This came in with a couple of boxes I bought out of a machine shop. It looks like it might clamp onto the bed of a lathe--or some such thing, but I really don't know. Is anyone out there familiar with this item? Thanks in advance. Al

Anyone know what this tool set does?

Help! In another of my garage sale purchases, I got the thing in the photos. I"m not sure if it's complete or not, it's brand new, looks like a cheapo import--given the low quality of the screwdrivers--but it's unlike anything I've ever seen before. The disc is covered in packing grease, and...
