My son and I did some trouble shooting on his car and my truck today and needed to make a parts store run. Plus, he needed some driving time on his learners permit...so we kept driving out to Dracut to a sale Jakemac scouted yesterday. I went in search of a Craftsman belt/disc sander and came away with a few more things.
Here's the sander, missing its Heritage logo plate and stopper bar for the belt. The plug wire is a fire hazard, so I don't know if it runs, but the 1/4 hp GE motor looks cool. I paid a bit too much at $50, but there were other things in my pile I will sell to offset it (more below).
Next was this 8 hp Sears rototiller for $40, stored in a shed it's whole life. The motor pulls over, but I haven't tried to start it yet.
This pile of tools was $20. Not pictured is a -1930s- +edit: 1950+ book on applied engineering that my son picked up.
Four grease guns, one no name, two Alemite Hydraulic Guns, mdls 5585 & 6556, and a China-made cheapo I should have left behind. The two Alemites came with a cool canvas bag.

Finally, I dragged home another vintage fridge, another Coldspot. It's pretty badly rusted on the bottom, but it still works, and I got it for $10.
Found this children's book stuck down in in the fridge coils. Dusty, but in perfect condition.
Then the boy drive us home, for a perfect day of testing, driving lessons and picking!
