Guys, i made a mistake. My note to self is, don't try to count/organize and or make sense of manifest when high on painkillers that give you blurry vision.

My wife went through the whole list, organizing along the way and i'm not missing a single one. She did get mad when i asked if there was any duplicates tho.

LOL very embarrassing! But i'll man up to it.

Hey, at least you figured it out before making a stink with Sears.

I picked up a set in 05 1/4-1/2 metric/standard deep well standard. Complete set but not like they used to be. Chrome flakes off, sizes are hard to read with that etching ****, especially if it's greasy. I've had to exchange a few due to the chrome. Had a 1/2 drive socket where the chrome peeled off like tin foil. Sears replaced them though. Good value for the money just don't expect much more.

Does anyone know of a way to get this for less than $375.99 right now? I want to pull the trigger soon before they're made in China. Being that it's a so called "hot buy" though I can't get any coupon codes to work.

Thanks

Unless you got SYWR points to redeem, the only other way is for it to either not be a "Hot Buy" so coupon codes work, or it actually drops in listed price.

That's what I thought, thanks for confirming. I got excited when I saw the midnight madness tonight but still no luck.

Catalog/Online only, it's harder to steal like that.

I got it awhile back for $291 after tax.

Waited for it to be discounted, but not a hot buy, and then used a 20% off coupon

I think I'll be waiting for the 4th of July too. Although, I'm also considering the 176 piece set. The main difference is you get a lot less 1/2". I'd love to see my drawers full but I'm trying to keep my needs realistic too.

FWIW I've had one of the smaller sets (maybe 176, I'd have to look) for about 10 years and find myself quite often wishing I had more 1/2" drive stuff.

If this gets back down to where it was, I plan to pick one up. I don't think you'd regret getting the 299 piece.

Those look great Lorddiesel. I hope you don't have to move your box.

As an FYI I chatted with Sears a few nights ago about when these would go off of hot buy status. They said the current sale was good until July 5 at midnight and they would be a hot buy until then. Maybe a post 4th of July sale?

I got tired of waiting and pulled the trigger Saturday morning. I'm hoping to price match if there's an after sale.

Ordered mine on Thursday at 11:00pm. Arrived Monday at the store for local pick-up. Unboxed and found them to be Made in USA!

I've attached a snap shot of my organizational page that was included with the set. If anyone wants an excel/google doc version, I've got it ready to go.

Was double shipped the items in green and only missing one socket! An 18mm 6 pt deep 1/2" drive.

PS.. been lurking for a while, but this is my first post!

If you guys are using it yet, Ebates is a decent enough site. Will get you ~$18 back on this order.

http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=ARKubsrmY2gWmIFC+IWfOg==&eeid=26471

Sears is currently at 6% back using the site. Basically a click through portal, similar to other sites. They do often list all the current coupons as well.

I have no affiliation, but I have received about $50 back via paypal with the company when I place orders at various sites. I have never had another coupon or promo not apply due to using the site over the past year and a half or so. I forget it often, but it has worked every time I remembered.

I do get a $5 referral bonus if you use the link above to sign up, but if you are not comfortable with that, you can just go to ebates.com and sign up your self.

Just got home from picking mine up at the store. Time to do the price match before I even open it. Hope they honor it!

I just ordered this and redeemed some points, came out to $274 after taxes. No complaints! Thanks for posting the foam tool organizer too.

I organized and inventoried mine. No extras and none missing, but one does not have the easy read on it.

I couldn't submit the price protection form on Sears last night, but I chatted with them and they said they would issue the $50.03 credit with no problem.

I bought a set of Hanson and a set of Harbor Freight holders. I didn't realize how many blank spots I'd have, and how many extras that don't fit on trays. This is going to drive my OCD crazy!

Best part, COO is still USA, thank goodness or they would have been going back.

I have the same issue and probably will be ordering the foamfit organizer to solve that.

How would I be able to get parts list for other sets from sears like this one? I've tried the link + the il number and not found. For ex this set http://www.sears.com/craftsman-95-p...p-00915383000P?prdNo=8&blockNo=8&blockType=G8

I don't think it's available as a PDF like several others are, but here's a link to crappy website that at least lists the individual item numbers:

http://www.e-digitaleditions.com/i/131725/236

It's not the best, but hopefully it helps you out?
