It generally is nice and cozy out there. It was last night until I found a section of stove pipe that had some severe rust damage. I had to run to town to get a section to replace it. I had an "oh ****" moment when I found it.Nice work - and your shop sure looks cozy now!
Hi NUTT,
I have been watching your ongoing projects for the last couple of years. Great job, with lots of helpful info.
I made a toy box for my son when he was born. I also built the crib just before he was born. Now it is his sisters. Wish I had more time for this kind of stuff.
Thanks for posting, Kip
Been reading this whole thread over a few days. Amazing work start to finish! Worries me though that I didn't see much work on the Mustang... Does working on having a nice garage mean I won't have any time to play with may cars any more??Really nice work, start to finish.
Cheers,
Andrew.
Eric, when you showed you Xmas gifts last month, one
Was a magnifying lamp. Have you used it yet? How do you like it. I am getting to the point I need some more light and "higher definition"' when working on small parts
I know there are some threads about these on GJ but wondering on what you have to say with a current model
Thanks in advance
The Mustang basically got put on the back burner as "life" was happening around it, daughters graduating, working on the house, refurb on the garage on a seriously tight budget, and just many other things..
I have the majority of the stuff to build a new motor for it but had a transmission issue. I made the call yesterday to G-Force transmissions to have them get it opened up and see what's wrong with it. Hopefully, there won't be any major issues, $$$$, and I can maybe get back on it this year. I do have to watch what I do though, we have a daughter getting married this fall.
No worries, I know how that happens, just having a little dig. Good to hear that stuff is going on in the background and you might be able to put it back together in the not-too-distant future. I was impressed by the split block pictures you posted a link to at some point through the thread, it was certainly a good effort! Love the work restoring the house and old garage into what looks like a great and very pleasant usable space. Well done.

Sounds like a case of blue oval disease...
just busting your balls Nutt

hey eric sorry if i have missed this but is all of your walls osb or drywall? i know i see some brick just meaning the rest of walls
Was there a reason you chose it over drywall

) and it said to wait 24 hours before applying polycrylic. ****, now it's going to be Sunday before I can spray it.
You Sir, are living the American dream. Beautiful house, and amazing workplace. I am amazed at your creativity and ability to do the things that you have done.
