Nice one.and that excellent burl wood cane with a 90° handle, that I will finish and use (just coming off knee surgery).

Lugz-Here's that WWII handset I picked up this morning (Pic 1). Note the US Navy anchor marking (Pic 2). And a few of the other things cleaned up in Pics 2 - 7. More photos in 'Paraphernalia', 'Oxwall' ("Occupied Germany" pliers with finger grips), 'DOE' (Kraeuter), 'Rhode Island Tool Co' (South Bend Lathe Works tool post wrench) and 'PENENS' threads.
Okay. Remember to check on the two extra Champion DeArment pliers I have, too, and I will throw them in the same box, with more of a surprise stocking stuffer I found rearranging the Lugzsonian.Yeah, but it came out of the evaporust a little pitted. It would be nice to have a fresher one. Thanks!
Yessir. Push-to-Talk button, too. My dad was a Quartermaster 3rd Class on a Destroyer ****** in WWII.Lugz-
That handset is a sound powered phone (SPP) non amplified shipboard interior communication. Fun stuff!

I’ve seen corkscrew tools for installing rope oil seals although I’m not sure about that one. I don’t have either of your Channellock extras so please send them along.

It was for threading something, but it's not sharp and doesn't appear to have been intended to be sharp.
Anyway that's the best I can add to the thread these days]
Lugz, does the Autolight gapper have a magnifier in the hole? I have one that does. pretty decent lens too!
We are in lock down here so very little happening, though local online site I spotted a couple of fountain pens I was interested in, so looked through their other items for sale and found this. I added it to my purchase, but don't know what it was for. From the pics it was a little rusty, hoped to find anything stamped on it but no, nothing. Anyone any thoughts?

Yup. They're soaking. Weird *** pivot pin.Lugz- nice find in those pliers! Those belong on the long c thread with your others.
No, it's missing. As Don said, they almost always are. I've had a few with lenses, all in GMTK's I sold to others.Lugz, does the Autolight gapper have a magnifier in the hole? I have one that does. pretty decent lens too!
The corkscrew tool is a packing puller for removing the packing from a valve or pump.
Thanks.A little more info

Thanks. I have a few, none with a flex shaft, and none with a corkscrew attachment, but I'm open to you, Don, and TOTO debating it.Looks like a patch loop from an old pistol cleaning kit to me.

I had assumed that that is what it could be, it's the rounded end that made me question that though.RTM, those are actual needles, and are often used for threading buttons through seat backs and cushions.
Was thinking something like 1st or third on this page.

Nice pun on threading
Don that is a good call on the corkscrew tool. I believe you are right! That probably is for rope seals!

It's not big enough I think, would need to be at least twice the length to go through traditional thatch here, but I think you're definitely on to something with this suggestion. Will do a little more searching on the PC over the next few days, straw work of some kind, I know the traditional horse collars were made of straw bound in canvas or similar.Hi LostBoy, Think it’s possibly a Thatch roofing needle.
Hey NYBODYMAN, How about a pic of that offset swivel ratchet by the big yellow bucket.
Nice haul, I could entertain myself for hours sorting n cleaning on all that.
