    40 years ago I bought a full set of tools from a retired VW mechanic. This was in the box. It's marked TRK 3/8. It's been setting in my tool box ever since. I don't have a clue what it is. It has a collar that slides back an forth. Any one have any ideas ???

    Truss load ?

    Any way to add to the Bottom cord load rating on a truss? Had a building put up and the builder told me I could put a ceiling up. Bottom cord dead load on my trusses is 1 PSF. Best I can come up with is 1.55 PSF and that's not including insulation.

    How many amps can I safely pull from a 20 amp breaker? I have a 220 volt air compressor that is tagged 13 amp. I also have a 220 volt grinder that is tagged 3.3 amp. Can both run on a 20 amp breaker. Wire is rated at 20 amp. I think the wire is 12 2 but would have to look to make sure. So is...

    Can you tell me what these are ?

    The silver thing came in the top of my used drill press. The rusty thing came in a box of tools from the wifes grandfather. Is the silver tool used to remove the chuck from DP ? I have no idea what they are. Thanks for any help.
