I have a 1/2 drive sk ratchets and a 1/2 Proto ratchet I’d like to trade for a snap on 3/8 ratchet dual 80.

Are they decent quality, Ive been hearing a lot about them lately.

So, on what do you use your files for ? I saw a set of files on the tool truck the other day and it made me curious on what you guys actually use them on. And are they worth purchasing of the truck?

I’m a hobby mechanic and I need new snap ring pliers, I seen there is a lot of different once out there, but are the all the same size? What I mean is, are they all a standard size ? I work on a lot of Volkswagen and Audi’s as a project!!!

So I picked up a craftsman bottom drawer at Lowe’s, I was thinking to instal a vise on top. What do you guys think About this ?

I know, I already started a thread about my Craftsman tools earlier, but I can’t seem to find any info on this ratchet, at least not with this switch on it, any help would be greatly appreciated. The switch looks newer than the ratchet.

I just got this at a garage sale for 2$ Why dose it look like this, is this a special Typ of ratchet ???

I purchased this of eBay and I found out it’s made in the mid 50s. It just amazes me how well tools where made back than.

I needed new impact sockets, and I couldn’t decide what to get, I went to harbor freight etc, but I ended up with this of eBay. Figured it’s a good deal.

Was browsing Craigslist this Morning and found all these tools for 100$, just met the guy, told me his dad retired from Boeing. I never owned a proto ratchet, feels well build.
