Here’s my 2001 Delta 14”, USA made, bandsaw. I bought this bandsaw new from Tool Crib of the North. When my grandmother died, she left each of her seven grandchildren a small amount of cash to “spend or save.” My inheritance came with these simple instructions, ”If you haven’t done so...

The Stanley #164. If you collect vintage Stanley hand planes, the #164 should be at the top of your wish list.

Agreed for the most part. They all cut if outfitted with a super sharp cutting iron and set for a relatively light pass. Some just do it better than others. Jim C.

Collectable Craftsman wrenches / eBay Dreamer !

Collectible or not, there‘s no way my wife would go for any interior decorating with old tools. Those are relegated to the basement or garage. I had a pretty good hand plane collection displayed in our previous house. She wasn’t a fan of it. When we moved a few years ago, the collection went...

Nice job finding the cross bar! Those are not always easy to come by. The ratchet you’re looking for was manufactured at some point between 1956 and 1959/60. The ratchet you have was manufactured in the mid 1990s. Jim C.

Yeah, what Lugz says! Thanks sir! The only thing I might add is that those cross bars were available for breaker bars in all three drive sizes (1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2”). They’re not the easiest things to find. They do show up on eBay occasionally. Jim. C.
