Truss Securing - Best way, photos?

Whoever designed or engineered the trusses being used should also tell you the correct bracing and requirements for proper installation.

Can anybody give me advice on making this tool?!?

I think the 1.32" would be more commonly known as 1 5/16" (1.3125").An engineers wrench can be had for reasonable prices ($30 and under)and could be heated and bent to do what you want.Is the overall length 20" or 2.0"?

Removing a windshield, maybe reuse it.

I've removed some windshields years ago using a spray similar to 3M Release Agent #08879 (which is or going to be discontinued) Its being replaced with #08987 (aerosol) General Purpose Cleaner. I'm sure other manufacturers have similar products. Most of which might be unavailable in...

Gotta love ebay sellers who RESELL harbor freight products at a ridiculous markup

Remember some sellers on Amazon.com do nearly the same thing. I recall the greenelee slug buster myself and others got for $33. Only to receive a HF cheap set. I hope the only people that made money on those were UPS and the USPS.

    Three storey welding cart

Its true, I assumed. I fixed the links to the pictures, but didn't study them. I wasn't until now I saw the tig torch. Its also in a different position in each picture.

    yards of concrete

Well, it gets treated like 2 squares. One is divided in half, because its triangular. If the sizes I marked on your picture are correct, I figured 2.8 yds. So you're not far off. If the sizes are in the wrong places, you should be able to figure it out. I doubt it changes much. I also took the...

Ah Rats !,..... I got BATS!

Build them their own home somewhere else on your property. I'm sure the plans can be found on the internet. I think they eat their own weight in bugs everyday, so bats are your friends.

    "Won - Need To Pay"

If that's a screenshot of your "My Ebay" page, all that means is ebay doesn't know you paid for it. As in you didn't use their checkout feature. Stop worrying so much. If you still feel you must pay for a Snap-On wrench, buy my 14mm Snap-On combo wrench. Send me money and I'll send you the...

Am I really the only person that snaps the post out of the center of the security screw heads? And I have the security bits to properly remove them.

Low voltage doesn't always mean bell wire. Quite frankly, I've seen tighter packed boxes.

Lets see your tv setups in your garage

Here's mine. They're in the room above my garage. When we go out there, we still say we're going out to the garage. Oddly enough I had to take this picture last night for something else. The tv is a 37" Philips Ambilight LCD. The Wii has only been there a week.

    Here's an odd request...

No, but I do have a #8027. If nobody on your end is dyslexic, try this. Get a key that goes in the lock. While keeping tension on the key in the direction needed to unlock it, push and pull the key in and out over and over. This sometimes works to pick the lock. I sometimes have luck finding...

Best Tool You've Found in a Car?

I've found a few tools in my cars over the years, but since Snap-on tools are perceived as the best tools, the 14mm Snap-On combination wrench is obviously the best I've found. I found it in the right hand fender well of my MG Midget when I was redoing the body and interior 2 years ago. As I've...
