    Bottle jack part number218132

It sounds like you opened up a Valve versus the Drain plug, Traditionally Bottle jack plugs are strategically located on the reservoir at a height that allows you to fill them to the appropriate level at Rest on there Base. I’m not sure what Model of Jack we are dealing with, but Valve make up...

Grizzly 500 lb. hydraulic table lift

Unlikely your run of the mill shop will have a Oring/Retainer as pictured. HPS doesn’t have a website, they do have email and or just call. I would gather the cylinder bore size and ID of the seal off the Piston or Retainer.

Grizzly 500 lb. hydraulic table lift

Unlikely you will find a kit, If you do, chances are you won’t like the price. The HF lift table I had apart Used Orings for the Piston and pump. If that’s the case, just take the Used Orings to hydraulic shop to match up or grab a caliper and look at online vendors. It looks pretty clean...

    Floor Jack Identification Help

It appears to be HW WS model, there is a multitude of posts here concerning that jack and its baby brother OS. It looks clean, but I always recommend tearing it down and giving it an inspection prior to buying a kit.

    A question for Window installers.

Just an Update, Window installer came out Monday and adjusted/shimmed all the windows according to the Anderson guidelines set forth in their instructions. I happily printed them out for him.. Ha! We had to pull siding to remove 4 of the windows to make things right, the Majority of them...

    A question for Window installers.

It’s the least of my problems right now, it’s not the foam causing issues.

    A question for Window installers.

Yeah this is where my non-construction background muddies things up. When I say reveal I’m talking about the gap between the window sash and the frame/jamb on most windows. I also have some windows, where if you open the bottom window, say an inch or so and stand back and look the distance...

    A question for Window installers.

Amazingly, they got that right. I was concerned when I didn’t notice that the drip cap wasn't installed till after the vinyl was in place, but after some phone calls and research. It appears that’s pretty common on New Construction/flange window installation, when house wrap and flashing tape is...

    A question for Window installers.

Yes, but it was done using a low expanding foam.

    A question for Window installers.

I managed to navigate the Anderson website and found there technical Installation documents. The windows are definitely supposed to have shims on the bottom and sides during the installation process. Unfortunately, my installer used carpenter pencils on the sill during the initial set, but...

    A question for Window installers.

A case has already been opened, but they won’t send their rep till the lumber yard window/door guy gives his report and based off our conversation my windows are suffering from poor install practices.

    A question for Window installers.

So no support on the bottom of the window between the window and sill? I’m not questioning you, but the window rep was adamant, especially on my larger windows that there needed to be support at the base. In regards to the reveal on the sides, is that not adjusted with shims? I only ask because...

    A question for Window installers.

I’m in the process of building a New house and we decided to go with Anderson 200 double hung windows. I feel like the installer my builder used might not of been up to the task. I went around and checked all the windows after he left and the reveal was solid when you opened the window an inch...

    Jack on Craiglist ID

It’s a run of the mill Yasui based jack, The small pad leads me to believe it’s Chinese/Taiwan sourced. I like the custom bolt that’s holding the handle in place.

    Lincoln Floor Jack

It’s not that Old, it’s actually from the Import line that was peddled via Lincoln during their tenure. I’m not saying it’s Junk, Seal kits should be available. I’d call Hydraulic Parts supply is Sawyer KS for seals when it’s confirmed everything is rebuildable internally. If you want to save...

Early Blackhawk S-4 jack - asking for more information

Like all the Blackhawk models from that Era, there is going to be a lot of similarities in regards to seals used/methods of securement etc. I’m gonna guess the early 3 ton models didn’t go over too well, as the 4 ton updated model are found more frequently. If I was looking for a jack for basic...
