    Cordless screwdriver recommendation for DIYer

Thanks for the point of view. After reading the replies, I'd regret going my route. Better to buy more than I think I need.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm looking at this one. Slightly more than I want but checks my boxes. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DL7QDS2/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Cordless screwdriver. Don't need impact. And, I already have a corded drill that still works fine. Just want something lighter for those smaller jobs

Gun-shaped is where I'm leaning. Like a drill, just lighter and smaller for jobs with multiple fasteners.

Looking for the above for general home use. RTA items, no masonry work, just general home/garage use. For wood, MDF, sheetrock, etc. Budget would be max $75. What volt spec should I look for? Thanks in advance

Good to know the company provided great service. Worth a few bucks more, IMO.

Agree completely. I never had any issue with Costco or their products. And, the one or two occasions we needed to return something, it was as painless as can be. The ONLY retailer we've used that I can say that about.

I also read that Philips makes a long-lasting bulb...will research some more. Thanks for your experience.

I also bought the retrofit kits for my living room cans. Going on 3 yrs now and other than a slight buzzing, no other issues. Light seems as bright and consistent as the day I installed them. I also like the fact that, since they are a sealed design, no heat loss through the openings in the cans...

My local Costco has Feit LEDs on sale every now and then. I usually pickup 60w equivalent A19 for lamps, porch lights, etc. Occasionally will use a few 100W equiv. Feits have mixed reviews on longevity and would prefer to buy a more reliable brand, if possible. Also want to replace about 15...

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I value your reply because you have the experience and, as a tradesman, you obviously used tin snips on a daily basis. The good thing about my choice is they are also good at cutting other materials. But, I will take your advice and get a set of off-sets...

I see your point and thanks for the reply but my needs are really very few and far between. Probably use once a month, if that. Just wanted something on hand when the need arises. I can always add to my toolbox if they don't meet my needs which is part of the reason why I'm a huge fan of this...

Thanks for posting this. I checked Amazon before ebay and the price didn't include tax or shipping at 14.99. Also, they weren't in stock until March. And Walmart and Zoro also had shipping charges plus tax. But I appreciate you checking that because it is so easy to overlook.
