What? A Chinese replacement Craftsman socket?

It is sad where craftsman went with their tools. unfortunantly, even if means they won't sell very many tools, I don't think they'll bring their quality back. I used to love to shop there but now I don't even bother walking into the store.

Need thinnest wall 3/8" socket you know of

Snapon sockets are super thin. Given the torque though, I'd hate to ruin a snapon. Get a S.K. the chrome will come right off.

Where can I find the cheapest decent triple square bits?

Hmm, I've used cheap triple square sets and have had no issues. I even used them with an impact driver.

Where can I find the cheapest decent triple square bits?

The VIM set is already so cheap and VIM products are so well spoken of. I think that if you are going to use a triple square on fasteners that are in good shape and you don't plan on using it that often then a junk set will cut it.

Where can I find the cheapest decent triple square bits?

It's hard to pass on the VIM unit above. I don't do much work on Euro vehicles but how often do you need a triple square on them? The only time I've ever needed it is when I had to remove a shroud for an oil change on a beetle.

1/2" Impact Sockets as my only set?

I have a SAE 19pc Deepwell Grey Pneumatic and a Sunex Deepwell metric 26pc set. They both are really nice. I like the grey pneumatics case a lot better because it is more compact but if you are going to be putting them on rails, then there is no real winner. I like them both equally as far as...

1/2" Impact Sockets as my only set?

Impacts are bulky and chrome sockets aren't. If you haven't used them in 10 years It's likely your not working on anything with tight clearances. 12 points are bulkier than 6 pts. They're nice to 12 point fasteners and fasteners that can no longer accept a 6 point, as in the surface is screwed up.

    Tekton Pliers Review (Red Handle)

Well, I will go back on my statement regarding the all USA Tekton Pro thing. I would think that Tekton Pro should be Taiwan or USA as opposed to Chinese and doesn't have to use 'made in USA' as it's defining characteristic as a pro line. USA stuff is just icing on the cake. Lets be honest...

    Tekton Pliers Review (Red Handle)

Tekton has the attention of a lot of people now. If Tekton wants to be the company to go to for a quality product/price then they need to work on getting more of the USA branded pliers. I had a whole cart full of Tekton pliers but now I'm only going to stick to the slip joint and channel. I...

    Tekton & Great Neck Tools

So I got the dead blows. For the price they are fantastic. They feel like they have a softer plastic than snapon matco mac etc. This could be because they haven't been covered in grease, dirt and other **** yet. I think they will last. I wouldn't drive nails with them but I don't think that is...
