    5/32 Ball End Allen Wrench.

My Craftsman 5/32 ball end allen wrench has gone AWOL. I know I can buy a whole new set from HF for cheap but I bought this set in the early 80s and I'd really rather keep it. Anyone have a spare one rattling around in the bottom of the tool box? Thanks for your time.

A Couple of Questions about Craftsman Saltus Wrenches.

Dad gave me many sets of tools over the years. He was a WW2 vet and a self-employed plumber from the forties to the nineties. One of the sets he gave me was a v series saltus set. It was mostly complete and I just need one more to complete the set. My first question is whether the socket end is...

    No Name Wrenches

These two wrenches were hand-me-downs from my father and have no manufacturer's name on them. Anybody have any idea who made them and when? Thanks for looking!

    Dremel Brush Question

Cleaning the corrosion out of a small carburetor today. The little wire brush was once again shedding bristles all over the shed, my face and clothing. Are there other brands of wire wheels that fit a Dremel and actually hold up?

    AC can adaptor

It seems the new cans of r-134 have something called an ACME top that does not use the older puncture type fitting. There are many adaptors available but they vary in price quite a bit. Does anyone have experience with these? I don't really want to replace my entire gauge manifold. Just looking...

    Workable Rubber

I'm redoing an old Bunting slider glider patio loveseat. I have found replacement springs and assorted hardware but replacement rubber feet are all but impossible to find. The feet are rubber and an oddball "T" shaped. Has anyone got any suggestions about what I can use in a wax mold. Flex Seal...

    Bolt ID

Found these in my spare hardware can. I found out that the small one is a "Premier Supertanium" and is considered grade 9. Any ideas on the other? I can't find any pics that match the head markings.

    Is this clamp bent?

Or is it supposed to be this way?

    Can this clamp be fixed?

The moveable fitting is gone. Is it worth the bother?

    Rescue Tape

While cleaning up the shop yesterday I came across a roll of rescue tape that a neighbor had given to try out some years ago. As I recall, I only tried it once and it failed. Anyone else tried this stuff? It only sticks to itself so I really don't know what good it is.

    What's this thing?

Found this under the belt/pulley cover of my drill press. I bought the press new so I must have dropped it in there at some time. It's about 5 inches long and about 1 inch wide. It's been stamped out of flat steel and not cut with a hacksaw so I'm pretty sure it's not homemade. Thanks.

It's most likely Japanese since it looks a bit too old for Chinese.

    Old electric hacksaw

This torture device is for sale in Craigslist. It got me thinking, is there anything this can do that a bandsaw can't?

Anyone remember getting these things in the mail?

I got them about 20 years ago. The company was called the Handyman Club of America and promised "free" tools for you to evaluate and keep. Last I heard, they just disappeared around 2007. I compared these plastic wonders to my old metal Craftsman drill gauge and these are junk. Might make good...
