    Socket box restores

After seeing the awesome work nine4gmc has been doing , I thought I'd post some of the socket boxes I've saved from the rust heap. My most recent one is a 1/4" drive S-K box that had alot of surface rust. Looked worse than it was. Will hold my EASCO and C-man G-code stuff.

Some old Williams obstruction wrenches showed up in the mail!

I've been collecting as many of these offset DOE's for a while now. Pickens have been slim for over a year. But, a forum member saw a post I made, and sold me a trio of Williams he had. Family just got bigger! Here's a family portrait with the new additions added. I have 27 including the...

    Scored a nice Cam-Loc wrench!

Received a DFE ratcheting Cam-Loc wrench today. After cleaning, it looks virtually new. And goes great with my existing pair of shorties. Now all I need to do is find the long 9/16" x 11/16" er, and I'll be set. Unless there are other sizes I don't know about.:lol_hitti

Anybody know about VEGA screwdriver bits?

Didn't want to hijack the other bit thread. Came across this company, and they look decent. Can't tell much from a webpage, though. Anybody familiar with them? http://www.vegaindustries.net/pdut_cat01.asp?CateID=33&LineID=24

Cordless drill conversion to wall power

Someone mentioned somewhere about converting a cordless battery drill to corded operation. Can't find that thread, so, I'll just post up what I've come up with so they can see. (As they asked if I'd keep them updated). I found an old 10 amp battery charger at an estate sale for $5. I then found...

New to me Walker floor jack

Found this jack on the local CL. Needs work, but hey, for $25, I think it's worth it. What do y'all think?

Who says Snap-On has to be expensive?

I got taken on this combo wrench today...but not too bad. I think I'll keep it to back up my Bonneys.

An S-O rat I got recently

I've been asked if this ratchet is a military issue, but I have no clue. Figured I'd post a few pics and you in-the-know folks could educate me. 1/4" MV70

    Lets see your Cam-Loc wrenches!

Picked up a double ratcheting flare wrench the other day, to go along with a smaller one I've had for awhile. Made by Bonney/Utica. Word is these double styles are fairly uncommon (compared to the single style), but, I'm sure some of you guys out there have some. If you have any, let us see a...

Some old tools I got recently

Found a couple of old tools for $1 each covered in rust. But they cleaned up nicely and have plenty of life left. I got these only because I've seen so many on the forums and figured they had to be worth saving from the rust heap. Before and after pics for you folks to enjoy.

Need some Duro/Indestro DBE's in metric

I picked up this virtually NOS set of DBE's over the weekend, but I've come to find out it's missing 3 sizes. 6 x 7, 12 x 13, and 18 x 20. If anyone has any of those to sell please let me know.

    F/S: Snap-On double flare wrench

Here is a S-O double flare nut wrench that I don't use. 1/4 x 5/16, 6 point, #RXFS810B. I picked it up in a lot of wrenches some time ago, but have never run into a flare fitting this small. So, I figured one of you Snappy fans could use it. It looks basically unused, has a little bit of red...

Dayton tool box: Restore or not?

Picked up a Dayton two-drawer tool box today. Alot of rust, but, being the metal seems to be quite thick, I think it might be worth a restore. Or maybe just a quickie clean-up and use on the job? Dimensions are 18L by 9W x 8H Weight: 13 lbs, 6 ozs. Manufacture date seems to be January, 1974...

    Show us your DUNLAP tools!

I've inherited this drill and small vice from my father-in-law, and have acquired a few more tools with the Dunlap name on them. All I know is that they made the "economy" line of tools for Sears, and were a brand from 1940 thru 1965. Any info you guys have would be appreciated...and by all...

My family of Diamond adjustable wrenches

Been looking to put together a set of the old Diamond adjustables with the semi-transparent green handles. A forum member graciously sold me a NOS 10", and here's a family pic with my other Diamonds. Now all I need is a can of that clear/green plasti-dip!:)

    Willaism obstruction wrenches

Still looking for Superrenches with the DOE severe angle on them (as shown in the pic). Sub-par finish isn't a deal killer, but, I'd like the working ends not buggared if possible. Looking to complete my set. If you have any lying around gathering dust give me a holleo.

    onebad90lx feedback

Had a great experience with this member. He said he had a slew of old American wrenches, and I asked if he had any Williams obstruction wrenches. Lo and behold, he got back to me within two days, and told me he had the one I needed! Awesome. Price was agreed upon, and I had that wrench within 4...
