    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT "DaBarn"

I’ve been looking at smokers too, our local barbecue place stocks the Daniel Boone at the completely affordable price of $4499 Australian.... currently looking for something round that’s not an oil drum to build one from. I’ve book marked this page, the ribs look great, going to try that once I...

Below 265 SQ/FT Garage takai - my little do it all work cave [AUS]

Interesting following this and your posts on the MWF. Metric **** ton of work on the Lux, you were right, the rear light set was hideous, but you know Denny is the home of stupid **** on utes.. Random factoid, everyone I know that’s had a Lux and put a lift on it has turned it into a Rollux...

I totally didn’t spend four days sandblasting and painting my nut and bolt bins so they matched my toolbox last off roster....

    Turning/grinding down a socket, options?

What would your turnaround be on that? With the work you do I can’t see you interrupting a production welding job to chuck up a socket in the lathe.

    Dead blow exploded.

I left a small snap on dead blow in a box of tools in storage for several years (I live in Aus so no issues with them freezing) It literally disintegrated to powder. When I attempted to warranty it the dealer refused to believe it was a snap on it had powdered so bad there was no identity...

Materials for a mechanics workbench top

$600 is pretty good, the crowd I use for sheet metal that is beyond what I have capability for would have been around that price just for material, would have been over $1k by the time it was folded and welded.

Materials for a mechanics workbench top

I’m stunned you managed to find somewhere in Aus that still has the manufacturing capabilities to bend something that long  I use Sika products for laminating things like that, expensive but sticks to the proverbial blanket. Roofing silicon (neutral cure) would probably give acceptable...

Paint job has come up a treat. I’m assuming you’re trying to match a theme with the toilet frame because I can’t see why else you would do it like that when you could have it framed and gyprocked in an afternoon. Looks cool but looks like a lot of extra work to me :dunno:

    R8 Shell Mill Holder

With regard to how customs works if you bought a holder from overseas, it should just turn up on your door. If there is duty payable then you will be notified with instructions on how to pay (this is a rare occurrence in my experience of shipping to the US).
